  • 1. WHERE SHOULD I APPROACH FOR THE UPGRADE OF MY DEVICE?
  • You are advised to visit any nearest MRO for availing this upgrade program.
  • Ensure that you carry your POI (in same name at that given for MDN) and MDN of the data card.
  • 2. WHAT IS THE PRICE/OFFER OF THE DEVICE WHICH I WANTED TO UPGRADE?
  • You are advised to visit any nearest MRO for availing this upgrade program.
  • The First Re-charge is Rs.100 for which you get 10GB data upfront.
  • Ensure that you ask Invoice from MRO.
  • 3. IS THERE ANY CHANGE IN THE TARIFFS OR STVS WHICH I AM CURRENTLY AVAILING?
  • No the tariff & STVs that you are currently availing remains same.
  • However, the FRC enables you to upgrade to MTS 3G Ultra speeds.
  • 4. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THE OLD DONGLE?
  • This old dongle remains with you only.
  • The same will get deactivated once you are upgraded.
  • 5. WHAT TIME WILL IT REQUIRE TO ACTIVATE THE DONGLE?
  • It will take us 2-4 hours for activation of your dongle. You will receive an SMS upon activation on your current registered mobile number.
  • 6. IS THERE ANYTHING REQUIRED TO BE DONE ON THE PHYSICAL DONGLE?
  • Yes you are required to install the data card on your laptop by following the instructions mentioned on the user manual and then from the user interface of the dialer, you are required to press activate button.
  • Upon successful activation, the dialer would prompt that "activation successful".
  • 7. WHAT IF THE ACTIVATION GAVE AN ERROR "ACTIVATION UNSUCCESSFUL"?
  • In this case try activating it 2-3 times and if the problem still persists then call contact center for support.
  • The Call centre numbers are provided at the end of the page.
  • 8. WHEN WILL MY EXISTING DATA CARD STOPS FUNCTIONING?
  • Your existing data card would continue to work till the time you don't receive the same on your mobile.
  • Once you get the message, your new device would start working and old (existing) one will stop functioning.
